Update:
PTL, Dr. Weinberg from MD Anderson called us this morning.
Treatment dates are confirmed: March 17th, appointment at 8:30am, March 18th, laser treatment. We will be in Texas from March 16-25 because the doctor would like us to stay for a week just in case there are any complications. We won't be in the hospital the whole time, but we will be in the area close by the hospital.
We've made a reservation at the Residence Inn Houston Medical Center/Reliant Park - March 16-25. We're currently looking for plane tickets.

- We will be in Texas from March 16th-25th and will be staying at the Residence Inn Medical Center/Reliant Park
- We will be flying Southwest Airlines out of LAX. Itinerary below:
Itinerary Date Flight Routing Details Mon Mar 16 1385 Depart LOS ANGELES INTL (LAX) at 11:35 AM
Arrive in HOUSTON HOBBY (HOU) at 4:45 PMWed Mar 25 2613 Depart HOUSTON HOBBY (HOU) at 8:30 PM
Arrive in LOS ANGELES INTL (LAX) at 10:20 PM- We will have access to internet there and will be checking e-mails daily probably.
- Kelly (Anderson's sister) will be flying with us for the beginning of the trip and will be returning early, Yvonne (Tiffany's aunt) will be flying out to meet us on Sunday and will be leaving Texas with us on Wednesday the 25th.
- I've sent out the explanation of what the laser treatment is in a previous e-mail so I won't go over it again.
- Prayer requests are:
- Safety as we travel.
- Pray that the tumor does not grow too large to exclude us from using the laser therapy. The tumor needs to be smaller than 2-3 cm in order for the treatment to be effective. Actually, the smaller the tumor, the more effective the treatment, so they say.
- As always, pray for a miracle of healing.
- Pray that our appointment with the doctor on the 17th goes well. That all the questions would be answered and that we would have continued peace about the treatment.
- Also pray for Anderson's (and my) diet while we're away from home and the familiar things that we've grown accustomed to having. I suppose we could bring brown rice and things like that.
- Also pray that there will be no complications and that the recovery time would be close to nothing, like they've seen in the past.
- Pray for good communication with our family members and patience for us. We've been struggling a lot lately with communication, roles, and expectations with our families.
Same prayer requests as last Wednesday (see below).
Few additions:
Few additions:
- PTL - Anderson's going to be turning in his FCBC membership application on Sunday. Pray for boldness and courage as he writes his testimony and gets baptized.
- Anderson's been having headaches lately. They come and go. Pray that they go more than they come.
